My Website on a MAC...Plz Help
|
Hello,
I am trying to figure out if my website is making problems to load well on a Mac as some people have experienced problems with the viewing of images and thumbnails.
This is crucial as I am trying to make it more functional to everybody.
I would like to ask a favour if anybody with a Mac can check my website wih either Safari and Firefox and let me know how it is going…

Thank you very much, I hope somebody will be happy to helkp on this one,
Best,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Looking right now on Safari 3 [Leopard OS X on MacBook Pro], it’s looking good so far, no problems. Off to check in Firefox, will come back and edit this with an update.
Edit> No problems on Firefox either. Tested all sections of your site, and by the way, great work!
I build portfolio websites, and the only ting I can think of is that the users who might be having problems with your site could be on earlier versions of Firefox and Safari, as I’m running the latest. You may have some coding in there which isn’t compatible with earlier browsers. There is sure to be someone else on here who can help you identify the problem further. What software is your site built with?

Hi Alex,
I’ve checked your website with Firefox Version 2 and Safari Version 3: your site works fine on both.
Congratulation for your work.

Hi Alex, I´m using Tiger 10.4 and Safari 3 and works fine, also on Firefox 2. Although i did notice that nothing happened when pressing ´caption´ during slideshow. I also watched the multimedia version on squatters ´brilliant´!
ps. thanks for you reply to my question on pricing.

Thank you very much for your help all of you. Strange enought I had a picture editor saying that images were not loading and the arrows not working…this is something used to happen on a Mac time ago…than stopped…but it is quite a misterious event as most of you can see my website with no problems at all…which is what I was expecting although there is always the sporadic person that cannot load it for who knows what increadible reason.
Thanks again,
Best Wishes,
Alex

Thank you all. I appreciate you have taken the time to help. I will keep doing some checking randomly just to make sure it does in fact support most browsers and see. As I was saying I am working now on a website from a template linked to this one so I will see how this too go for a while.
