Journalists can apply for fellowships to attend climate change summit

Journalists from Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America or the Middle East are invited to apply for climate change fellowships that will allow journalists to take part in media activities at the UN climate change summit, being held in Poznań, Poland in December.

The deadline for applications is October 13.

The fellowships, which are being offered through the Climate Change Media Partnership, will allow selected journalists to enhance their knowledge of environmental issues and to develop their professional journalism skills through media activities offered during the summit.

The Climate Change Media Partnership will provide travel, travel insurance, accommodation and a daily subsistence expense allowance to the journalists selected. Journalists must arrange their own visas.

For more information, email Rod Harbinson, Head of Environment Programme, rod.harbinson@panos.org.uk.

Applications should be sent preferably as an email attachment to: CCMP@panos.org.uk. To access the invitation and application form, click below.
